Announcement : New user account management system

The development of new user account management system has been completed. We will launch the new systemon Mar. 17, 2015. The service of old system, however, will be still provided for a while before it is going to be terminated after one month.

According to this improvement, there are some impacts with all AU member user accounts as follows:

Your user account name still remains the same (unchange).

Your user account password will be reset which means that you cannot use your current password when the new system is launched. This will also affect your Android devices and Gmail if you use your AU account to login.

For all staffs and instructors, you can login to use the Internet and “home.au.edu” by using temporary password provided by ITS on Feb. 25, 2015.

For all students, your temporary password is your first 6 characters of citizen ID (if you are Thai) or passport ID (if you are foreigner) plus your birth date as shown in the example below:

Example:  First 6 characters of citizen ID or passport ID = 310050

                     Birth Date (ddmmyyyy) is 1 December 1975 = 01/12/1975

                    The temporary password is 31005001/12/1975

If you cannot login with the temporary password or you did not get your temporary password, you can contact our user support personally to change your password at the following locations.

Huamak Campus:

  • A building 4th floor (Computer Lab).
  • E building 6th floor.

Suvarnabhumi Campus:

We request you to change your password as you like via “home.au.edu” before changing your Android or GMail password settings.
