Theories in effective communication are integrated into business communication skills most applicable in today’s work environment. The course focuses on hands-on experience and providing students the opportunity to learn from each other, as well as from the instructor.
Classes will be conducted in the form of a flipped classroom in which students are expected to be prepared before attending class. Lecture videos and other materials will be available for students to access before classes begin. During class time, students will use what they have learned from the provided resources to work on assignments, with the assistance of the lecturer. In addition, students are encouraged to learn from their peers while working on the assignments together.
